What is the CCN?
The CCN is a nationwide group of centers dedicated to providing high-quality, specialized care for people with bronchiectasis and NTM lung disease. Participating centers strive to provide prompt and accurate diagnosis and offer support and resources for people impacted by these chronic lung conditions.
What can I expect at a CCN center?
At these centers, people will find health care teams who understand the challenges of living with a chronic lung disease. They work together to provide thorough evaluations, accurate diagnoses, and personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
Care Center Network sites also focus on helping people manage their condition day to day, offering education, support, and access to the latest approaches to care. Their goal is to help people breathe easier, stay healthier, and feel more confident in managing their disease.
How are centers selected for the CCN?
Centers submit an application to join, which is reviewed by the CCN Steering Committee, a panel of experts in the field. Accepted centers receive a designation of either a Care Center or Clinical Associate Center. These designations are based on set standards established and reviewed by the Steering Committee.
