The Bronchiectasis and NTM Association’s mission is to improve the lives of people with bronchiectasis, NTM lung disease, or both conditions. We accomplish this by providing education, supporting advocacy, furthering research, and advancing high-quality, specialized care. As a unit of the COPD Foundation, the Association benefits from lean operations, leveraging shared services such as information technology and marketing and communications from the COPD Foundation.
The Association team is led by Executive Director Elisha Malanga and includes dedicated staff for each of our strategic pillars, including awareness and education, care delivery, and research. Our leadership includes world-renowned physicians Doreen Addrizzo-Harris, M.D., Care Center Network Steering Committee Chair; Timothy R. Aksamit, M.D., Medical Director; Charles (Chuck) Daley, M.D., Chief Research Officer; and Mark Metersky, M.D., FCCP, FACP, Medical Advisor.
